Resident input on parks sought by East Lansing

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Residents of East Lansing are encouraged to share their input for the future of city parks. The city will host an open house to receive input and share information with the community regarding the Valley Court Connectivity Plan and the Parks, Recreation, and Arts Five-Year Park Plan. Both plans are currently underway in the City of East Lansing. The informative event will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, located at 819 Abbot Road. The event is free and kid-friendly, and refreshments will be provided. What are the plans? According to the city, the plans currently underway are:Valley Court Connectivity Plan The focus of this plan is on connecting Valley Court Park to downtown East Lansing through art, lighting, and more.
