Ringing in the holiday season at the 36th Annual Duluth Festival of Trees

On Saturday, the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) had its halls decked with boughs of holiday joy as the 36th Annual Duluth Festival of Trees rang in the season.

The event, hosted by the Junior League of Duluth, connected over 150 small businesses with community members in preparation for the holiday season.

"It's a vendor and craft fair where you can come and do your Christmas shopping. In the age of all the digital shopping that we have like Amazon, this is a great place to actually see and feel the products that our vendors have for sale," said Lauren Farden, president of the Junior League of Duluth.

The Festival of Trees is the largest fundraiser the Junior League of Duluth hosts during the year. In 2023, the Junior League raised over $30,000 during the weekend event – which was donated to over 15 local non-profit organizations.

This year, the Junior League of Duluth also partnered with CHUM, offering one dollar off the event's admission price if attendees brought in a canned or non-perishable food item.
