Ritchie County Sheriff’s Office investigating mailbox thefts
PENNSBORO, W.Va. (WBOY) — Law enforcement is investigating recent thefts and vandalisms that happened in the Pennsboro area.
Multiple mailboxes and trash bins have been vandalized and stolen from residences along Bonds Creek Road, Gnats Run Road, Buck Run Road and Sugar Run Road, according to the Ritchie County Sheriff's Office .
Although limited details were given, the sheriff's office said that the thefts happened overnight Nov. 1-2.

Anyone whose mailbox, trash bin or other property was stolen or vandalized on that night should contact the Ritchie County Sheriff's Office at 304-643-2262 or Central Communications at 304-659-3771.
All of the roads listed are connected to each other and run from north of Pennsboro to near Greenwood at the Doddridge County line.
The post did not specify whether any mail was stolen along with the boxes, but mail theft is a felony and a federal crime.
