New sound system, student section, and local restaurant offerings highlight changes.

The Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena will welcome UCLA football fans with a host of upgrades as the Bruins prepare for their inaugural season in the Big Ten Conference. Stadium officials announced improvements aimed at enhancing the game day experience for spectators.

"The Rose Bowl Stadium is looking forward to opening its gates once again to UCLA Football fans for the upcoming season," Jens Weiden, Rose Bowl Stadium CEO, said in a statement.

A state-of-the-art sound system, among the first of its kind in college football, has been installed throughout the stadium seating area and gates, promising improved audio clarity and coverage. The new technology is expected to provide better intelligibility for public address announcements and referee communications, as well as full spectrum audio for music within the stadium.

The stadium has also created a dedicated section for "The Den," UCLA's student group. Located on the east side of the Rose Bowl, this new safe standing area incorporates a rail system designed for safety, allowing fans to stand and cheer the Bruins to victory.

The culinary offerings have also received a significant overhaul. Levy Restaurants, the stadium's hospitality partner, has curated a menu featuring local Pasadena eateries and new signature dishes tailored for UCLA game days.

Among the new concession items is the "1922 1⁄2 Pound Dog," a hefty all-beef hot dog topped with shaved beef cheesesteak and a three-pepper Monterey cheese sauce. The "UCLA Bruin Bowl" offers seasoned waffle fries with hatch pepper mac and cheese, carne asada, and various toppings.

Another addition is the "UCLA Bruin Dog," featuring chile de arbol aioli, house-made birria, and pickled red habanero onions.

Premium seating areas will enjoy offerings like the Suites MVP Package, which includes bottomless popcorn, potato chips & gourmet dips, seasonal fresh fruit, and more. The club areas will feature rotating menus from local establishments across six home games.

Participating restaurants include Mijares Mexican Restaurant, showcasing Chicken Mole & Al Pastor Tacos; Agnes Restaurant & Cheesery, Craft by Smoke and Fire, Pez Cantina, known for their award-winning shrimp tacos; and Bulgarini, featuring Boar Pappardelle A Cinghiale.

Management said the Rose Bowl upgrades aim to provide a fresh experience in America's Stadium.

The renovations seek to blend modern amenities with the venue's storied tradition, setting the stage for UCLA's Big Ten debut.
