Ross McCall has made rare remarks about his romance with Maggie Sajak , former Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak 's daughter.

The 48-year-old actor shed light on his relationship in a recent interview on the podcast All the Fails .

He told host Jenny Mollen about his involvement with the 29-year-old social media correspondent, 'It's early.'

He added that his dog 'knows she's definitely on the floor' when his girlfriend, whom he did not mention by name, sleeps over.

It comes about five months after the lovebirds were spotted sharing a passionate kiss as they walked McCall's dog in Los Angeles .

He joked about his pup, 'So she's on the floor a lot these days,' implying that his lady love sleeps over often.

Elsewhere in the sit-down conversation, the Hollywood fixture described himself as 'reasonably private in the public eye.'

Before dating Sajak, he was engaged to actresses Jennifer Love Hewitt in 2007 and Alessandra Mastronardi in 2021.

Addressing the former engagements, he reflected that sometimes 'things don't work out.'

He recalled about the past romances, 'I was heartbroken each time. I believe in partnership, and I'm not very good with loss. I felt I lost something.'

The star clarified, 'I don't feel that I lost in like a competitive way.'

Despite the relationships ending, McCall holds 'no ill feelings' toward his exes, who have each gone on to marry.

Hewitt wed Brian Hallisay in 2013 and they share three children. Meanwhile, Mastronardi married Gianpaolo Sannino in 2023.

The Band of Brothers actor referred to himself as a 'hopeless romantic' and shrugged off his player reputation as not 'necessarily true.'

Furthermore, he noted that 'partnership' is 'a big deal' to him.

He said, 'We're slightly older now, right? And so, there's certain things we've learned, we've gone through relationships.

'I sort of feel like if I had the mentality I have now when I had then, there wouldn't have been the problems that you have — ego, pride, all that kind of nonsense.
