Route 199 construction project continues in Sayre

SAYRE, Pa. ( WETM ) — The four-year-long Route 199 road work project will continue in Sayre this week.
According to PennDOT, construction crews will be doing work on the sidewalks at the intersection of Lockhart Street and Keystone Avenue starting on Wednesday, Nov. 6. They'll be working on the northwest and southwest corners.
Richmond Township bridge reopens, construction pauses for winter
Flaggers will direct traffic at the intersection while crews work, and work will only be performed during daylight hours. PennDOT is advising motorists to slow down and be cautious while driving through the work zone.
The $16.4 million roadway reconstruction project is expected to be completed this fall.
