Rugby-Muntz inspires Fiji to surprise win over beleaguered Wales
CARDIFF (Reuters) – Flyhalf Caleb Muntz scored 19 points as Fiji pulled off a surprise 24-19 win over Wales at the Principality Stadium on Sunday to extend their hosts' losing streak to 10 matches.
Muntz scored a superb individual try, which he converted, plus he put over four penalties for Fiji, who also scored a try through Josua Tuisova.
Wales, who made a promising start to the test, scored through new cap Blair Murray, substitute Ellis Bevan and a penalty try with a conversion from Gareth Anscombe on his long-awaited return to the side.
But it was a memorable day for Fiji, with only a second victory in 15 tests against Wales, who last won an international at last year's World Cup in France.
