Russell Westbrook Inspires Steph Curry, Dejounte Murray, and NBA World with Major LA Community Giveback: "Realest"

Why Not? This has been Russell Westbrook's motto for several years. And he constantly lives up to it not only on the court, but off it as well. Sure enough, Mr. Triple Double has added another badge of honor to his mantra as he unveiled the new expanded campus of the Westbrook Academy in South Gate, Los Angeles. As expected, his inspiring move to give back to the community motivated his fellow NBA peers and the entire basketball community, including Stephen Curry, Dejounte Murray and more.

In his latest Instagram post, Russ shared some wholesome moments from the ribbon cutting ceremony of the academy's new campus and wrote, "LEGACY! Think... WHYNOT? Grateful and blessed beyond words. For the inner city. – The Brodie." And Steph was in awe of Westbrook's initiative as he shared the post on his IG story and wrote, "Congrats and and the whole family!"
