Arlington Salsa Limón to open new North Texas restaurant in bustling mall. Here's what's on the menu

Fort Worth staple Salsa Limón is gearing up to open its seventh location in Texas.

Brother-sister duo Ramiro and Rosalia Ramirez opened their first ever Salsa location in 2006 in Fort Worth. Over the nearly two decades since, the Ramirezes have opened additional restaurants in Fort Worth, along with spots in Dallas and Austin.

Salsa's newest location will open at 11 a.m. Thursday Oct. 17 in the food court at The Parks Mall at Arlington (3811 South Cooper St. suite 2156).

Each Salsa location has a nickname, including the Arlington restaurant, which is dubbed "Parques," meaning "parks" in Spanish.

The Arlington locale will feature the same neon aesthetic found at other Salsa locations, along with a Mexican market ambiance that hearkens back to the Ramirez family roots, according to a restaurant press release.

Nearly everything from Salsa's original menu will be served at the Arlington location. The Mexican restaurant chain is known for its tacos, burritos and all-day breakfast.

The Arlington locale will serve a few new menu items including sopa de tortilla, chicken rice cup, and mini bean and cheese burritos. A seasonal menu and the first-ever Salsa Limón created desert are also coming soon.

Just like every other location, the Arlington restaurant will be available for catering and to-go orders.

Salsa Limón Arlington opens at 11 a.m. Oct. 17 and will operate during mall hours:
