SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) —A San Angelo man who was arrested earlier this year for pulling a gun at Whataburger received a plea deal on Sept. 19.

According to an arrest warrant, the incident occurred on April 28, at 2:34 a.m., when officers were dispatched to 4646 Knickerbocker Road. Officers learned at the scene from the victim's testimony, the restaurant's surveillance recordings and the victim's rear dash camera footage that a man, identified later as 35-year-old Jesse Galvan of San Angelo, had collided with the rear end of the victim's vehicle when in the drive-thru line.

The victim reported that he got out of the drive-thru line, parked and exited his car to exchange insurance information with Galvan where Galvan, upon the victim's approaching, rolled down his window and pointed a black Glock handgun in the victim's face. Surveillance footage later showed Galvan driving his vehicle around the restaurant building before returning to where the victim was parked to confront him again.

According to court documents filed by Tom Green County, Galvan received a sentence of seven years of deferred adjudication in exchange for pleading guilty.
