Sandi Tree returns with a new theme for the 2024 holiday season
Starting Monday morning on Nov. 4, about 850 tons of sand will be arriving in the city of West Palm Beach for Sandi Tree's return.
Sandi Tree returns for the 2024 holiday season with a new entertaining theme. Starting Monday morning, the city of West Palm Beach says about 850 tons of sand will be making its way to downtown Clematis Street throughout the week to start the holiday transformation. From sand delivery to completion, it takes approximately one month to ensure Sandi and the other holiday decorations in the area are ready for the Clematis by Night Holiday Tree Lighting.Just like every other year, Sandi, the star of the night, is returning with a new seasonal theme and elements. This year's holiday extravaganza theme is "Sandi Shares Harmony."Out of the 850 tons of sand being delivered, Sandi is expected to take majority of it as the tree will be 700 tons. 100 tons will be used to construct other sand sculptures along the waterfront. The last 50 tons will be used for a sandbox with a creative "Be Good Ship Lollipop," and a giant pirate ship with sand for kids to play.
