SAPD: Two dead in possible murder-suicide near Balcones Heights

SAN ANTONIO — Two people were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide in a neighborhood near Balcones Heights Thursday afternoon.

Officers responded to the 200 block of One Oak Drive, near Loop 410 and Babcock, at around 4:15 p.m. The two people, who police say were husband and wife, were found lying in bed with gunshot wounds.

Police identified the two people as Manuel Limon, 63, and Azucena Limon, 64. Manuel Limon reportedly shot his wife with a shotgun while she was lying in bed, according to a preliminary report. Police said he then laid down next to her and shot himself with the same gun.

Their bodies were found by their adult son who came to visit for his mother's birthday.
