Sarah Ferguson showed off her sense of humour in her latest TikTok video, joking she's 'every day a bride' as she filmed herself getting ready for a book signing in Perth . The 65-year-old former wife of Prince Andrew is currently in Australia, just weeks after King Charles and Queen Camilla visited the country. 'Every day a bride! Every day a bride,' she laughed in the light-hearted post, as her make-up was touched up before the event. She offered a behind-the-scenes glimpse into her preparations for the book signing, pulling faces at the camera. Posing beside a bin, Fergie said: 'Just about to make my speech - in a waste bucket!' 'Life's too short to be serious all of the time!' she added in the caption of the video, showing a medley of humorous moments. Royal fans rushed to social media to praise the Duchess for 'her great sense of humour.' They wrote: 'Love Sarah she's so real'; 'Love fergie she is so down to earth'; 'I just adore your wittiness! You are so much fun. Thank you for joining TikTok! Such amazing posts. always down to earth & you sprinkle everything with sunshine!'; 'Duchess you're a wonderful royal with a great sense of humour'; 'She is one off the funniest royals about ive always liked Fergie.' Mother-of-two Fergie kicked off her visit with a literary event at Joondalup Resort, where she signed copies of her books - in recent times, she has penned a number of tomes. She looked chic, donning a little black dress under her blazer, pairing it with black heels. The Duchess of York wore her red tresses loose, letting them fall past her shoulders in a casual style. After today's event, the royal will be undertaking a number of further engagements during the trip, including working with the non-profit Youth Impact Council. Her polished style today was a very different look than the one she sported while making a recent social media post. Last week, Fergie shared a powerful message about mental health as she visited the beach in Donegal, Ireland. In it, she spoke candidly about how 'sometimes things get overwhelming'. Sarah, who has battled cancer twice over the past year, being diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2023 and a malignant melanoma, an aggressive form of skin cancer, in January, candidly spoke to her followers while taking a stroll on the beach. Speaking in the video, the first royal to join TikTok , said: 'Hello everybody! I'm here in Donegal and sometimes when I find things get sometimes overwhelming, I just try and take myself off to the most beautiful, wonderful blast of fresh air. 'Looking at the ocean, looking at the beach, looking at the shells. It's great to be in the wind and just getting fresh air on my face.' She added in her caption: 'The benefits of getting some fresh air everyday really can do wonders for you. Thank you Donegal!' Royals fans were quick to praise the 'inspiring' post, with many noting how well the Duchess was looking. They wrote: 'Lovely to see you. You look well. Nothing quite like the wind on your face, and just breathing in the fresh air, is there. Thank you for sharing this moment from your day.' 'You are an inspiration thank you x.' 'So proud of you Sarah your resolve is an inspiration for me.' 'Beautiful. Thanks for sharing !!!' Sarah Ferguson became the first member of the royal family to join TikTok - and marked the occasion with a poignant video reflecting on her cancer journey. The Duchess, who currently resides in the Royal Lodge in Windsor Park, has made her debut on the social media app under the username sarahtheduchess. Sarah - who is often affectionately known as Fergie - donned a casual ensemble for the clip, consisting of a denim jacket and an aqua blue jumpsuit. She sat down in a field to film the clip and captioned it: 'My first ever TikTok!' Fergie was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2023. Just months later, in January 2024, the mother-of-two was told she had malignant melanoma, an aggressive form of skin cancer. The mother-of-two said she felt 'hollow' and experienced 'total abject fear' when she heard her breast cancer diagnosis. Fergie said: 'The drive [between hospitals] was 40 minutes and I didn't speak - I couldn't speak. It was very interesting for me not to speak. 'I couldn't express myself, I just shut down, I went back into [a] little girl. It was easier not to ask for support and just to deal with it because that's what I'm used to, that's what I was taught. 'It's only now that I am really proud of my scars, they're really important. 'I never thought you could free the shackles of your heart by cancer, by learning what it is to be able to talk right about what it feels like to ask for help, to surrender and to realise that everything is going to be okay. And you can find joy and you can not worry so much.' She put in her caption: 'One cancer diagnosis was bad enough but to go through all those emotions twice was a lot to handle. For anyone going through this now, know that you are not alone.' The Duchess has racked up more than 2,000 views in less than a day, with fans commenting love heart emojis under her first post.
