ScoopDuck Roundtable: Score Predictions vs Wisconsin

It's Wednesday which means it's time for your favorite roundtable of the week. Our score predictions. I would say this week we all generally seem to be on a similar page for scores which means it will be the opposite.

Here are those four score predictions and the explanations from each.

Max Torres: Oregon 31 – 17

This Wisconsin team is reeling and Oregon is playing some good football. Even if some of the recent wins haven't been stellar, the scoring margin has been solid. I'm a bit hesitant to predict too many points for the Oregon offense, as they're still working to build chemistry, particularly up front. The Badgers shouldn't present much of a threat but they are coming off of a bye, they're at home and I think Luke Fickell will get his guys to show up, at least for a while. Oregon doesn't need style points. Just get a W and get to the bye week.

Collin King: Oregon 35 – 20

This game is going to be closer than some Ducks fans would like to admit, late in the season, on the road. Tez Johnson's absence is going to be weighing heavily on this offense, and they aren't as explosive. For that reason despite still scoring 35, Oregon won't always look terrific on offense. I think the defense allows an early score and figures things out after that, only allowing 13 points following.

Linden Hile: Oregon 28-20

I expect this to be a lower-scoring affair than the Ducks have become used to as Camp Randall Stadium is a difficult environment, particularly in a night game. In addition, Oregon faces injuries at running back and receiver, making an already challenging task harder.

While the offense may struggle at times, I expect the Ducks' defense to do a good job keeping Wisconsin out of the end zone for the most part. I think Oregon gets up by 10-14 before allowing a backdoor score to make the game look closer than it was.

Jhop: Oregon 37-21

Another win and all that matters. But I expect we'll see an energetic Wisconsin team and crowd on Saturday evening. Kickoff is 6:30 PM local time which means plenty of tailgate time. Oregon comes out and puts up some points but Wisconsin takes some chances and keeps it close (r) until half. In typical Oregon fashion the Ducks struggle in the third quarter before putting the game on ice in the fourth. The game will never be in doubt but will be closer than some fans like.
