Shaquille O’Neal’s Daughter Me’Arah O’Neal Earns Three-Word Nickname From Family Friend After Latest Heroics

When you're the daughter of one of basketball's biggest legends, expectations are high. Yet, Me'Arah O'Neal, daughter of Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal, is showing she's more than ready to uphold the family legacy. In her recent game against the Florida A&M Rattlers, Me'Arah showcased her skills by helping the Florida Gators win by 102-67. The game caught the attention of Shaquille O'Neal's best friend, who was quick to dub the 18-year-old with a new moniker.

Anthony Hall, a longtime family friend, and Shaq's confidant took to Instagram to celebrate her achievements. In the video, he excitedly praised her efforts, calling her "Baby Face Killer," a nickname that reflects her youthful look paired with an intense game mentality. "My Baby Face Killer for the 3eeeeee!" read the caption of Hall's post.

In her game against the Florida A&M Rattlers, Me'Arah contributed six crucial points to the Gator's effort in 17 minutes, along with two rebounds and two assists, making a solid impression for someone still finding her footing in the game. She also scored a three-pointer during the game, which can be speculated to be the time that Hall has pointed out in his post.

However, her stats deteriorated slightly compared to her college basketball debut game. Starting her season with the Gators against the Florida Atlantic Owls, MeA'rah had delivered 7 points, 5 rebounds, and an assist in just 20 minutes. "I went on the Florida visit, and I had a feeling that's where I belonged and that I was going to be most successful if I went to go play at Florida," said MeA'rah to ESPN.

Anthony Hall's support for Me'Arah is especially notable given his long-standing friendship with Shaq. They first met during the filming of Blue Chips, where they also met rapper 50 Cent. Later, they teamed up again for a remake of The White Shadow with CBS. Their friendship has gone beyond work, though; these two are all about pulling pranks and making each other laugh, even on set. "Sooooo ya'll wonder why is the butt off all my jokes around here. Because he treats me of all people, his best friend of over 30 years," wrote Hall in an Instagram post.

As Me'Arah continues her journey with Texas Southern, her debut is only a taste of what's to come. "Baby Face Killer" may have started as a nickname in admiration, but it's quickly becoming a symbol of her on-court intensity. The next game that MeA'rah will appear in is on Wednesday against the Chicago State Cougars. However, even though Hall lauded MeA'rah's efforts in the new post, her father was recently the target of the Hollywood star's hilarious social media jab.

When Anthony Hall called Shaquille O'Neal 'Sloppy' Everyone knows NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal has always been known for his dominance on the court, but his off-court antics have also given his fans a good chuckle. But While Anthony Hall had nothing but praise for Shaquille O'Neal's daughter, Me'Arah, calling her the "Baby Face Killer" after her impressive debut, he had something far less flattering for her dad a few days back.

Recently, Hall took to his Instagram to share an old video in which Shaq stood surprised at Home Depot. Known for their close bond and lighthearted ribbing, Hall didn't hold back from calling Shaq "sloppy". "See y'all be questioning why I be going hard on The boy is sloppy, and I ain't getting caught out there messing around with him." Adding some humor to his post, he teased, "Anyway, how in the hell do you get caught in Home Depot?" Wrote Hall in the Instagram post.

This hilarious jab can be speculated to be related to last year's viral "Home Depot Girl" moment where social media influencer Ariana gained internet fame for her job at Home Depot, with the look of a model. As trolls jumped in from the followers, Shaq took the opportunity and advised Ariana to ignore the haters. Ariana then celebrated the moment by posting a screenshot of Shaq's DM with a caption, "When Shaq texts you know you doing something right okay!"

However, fans took the incident in the wrong way and called out the seven-footer for sliding into Ariana's DMs. Even though Shaq had eased the moment with his, "Just uplifting people that's what the diesel do baby I uplift people google me," comment, it can be said that Hall as always had come up with a unique angle to embarrass his three decades old friend.
