‘SNL’ Movie ‘Saturday Night’ Gets Digital Streaming Premiere Date

Saturday Night—Jason Reitman's movie comedy about the chaotic 90 minutes before the first episode of Saturday Night Live—is coming soon to digital streaming.

Saturday Night debuted in wide release in theaters on October 11. Directed by Reitman and written by Gil Kenan and Reitman, the official logline for Saturday Night reads, "At 11:30 p.m. on October 11th, 1975, a ferocious troupe of young comedians and writers changed television forever. Find out what happened behind the scenes in the 90 minutes leading up to the first broadcast of Saturday Night Live."
