Sofia Vergara shows off design carrier case for her dog: 'Dolce baby'

Sofia Vergara is often seen traveling around by car with her beloved pet pooch by her side secure in a pet carrier.

And on Thursday the Modern Family alum showcased her brand new traveling case for her prized Chihuahua with the caption: 'Dolce baby Amore.'

The Dolce & Gabbana pet carrier bag in leopard-print Crespo comes complete with with a branded plate and fabric that's carefully printed and protected by a coating.

Made in Italy , the bag comes in small and large sizes, which are both suitable for a small Chihuahua like Vergara's little Amore.

In the cover photo, the proud dog mama can be seen lovingly looking down at her pup while the little black-and-white one enjoys the new traveling home.

For the second photo, the Griselda star grabbed the attention of her four-legged family member by puckering up her lips while going in for a kiss.

The adorable pup ended up being great source of company for the actress during her recovery from a debilitating knee injury in mid-April.

Vergara introduced her Chihuahua puppy earlier this year following her divorce from Joe Manganiello after more than seven years of marriage.

The Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia native was on holiday with friends celebrating her 51st birthday in Italy without her estranged husband when he filed for divorce with the courts in the U.S.

Vegara first met Manganiella in May 2014 and then began dating just weeks later, in June of that same year.

They would waste little time in heading to the wedding alter, getting engaged just six months later, on Christmas Eve.

The pair ended up tying-the-knot in November 2015 in front of 400 guests during a glamorous ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida that included Vergara's Modern Family co-stars Ariel Winter, Ed O'Neill, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Julie Bowen, Sarah Hyland, and Ty Burrell, as well as Manganiello's True Blood co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer.

The former couple had made a family of sorts when Vergara purchased a Chihuahua named Bubbles over the course of their romance and marriage.

She would be very open on social media and in interviews about how Bubbles avoided her and was instantaneously drawn to her then husband.

Sadly, their romance came to a close when they announced their separation in June 2023 in a joint statement.

'We have made the difficult decision to divorce,' they wrote to Page Six . 'As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.'

And with the divorce settlement, Vergara was nice enough to recognize the dog should go to Manganiello, considering the bond they developed.

Now that she has her own little pet pooch she often is seen with her pup on the set of the reality competition show America's Got Talent.

Vergara has since moved on in the romance department to Dr. Justin Saliman, an orthopedic surgeon after first being photographed together in October 2023 at a dinner in Beverly Hills.
