Son accused of killing mom in NYC: police

UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) – A son allegedly killed his mother in New York City last year, police said Thursday.

Ana Asencio, 84, was found dead inside 70 West 93rd St. where she lived on Manhattan's Upper West Side on July 17, 2023, according to the NYPD.

Police on Thursday arrested Asencio's son, who is accused of killing her. His identity hasn't been released.
