South Euclid police arrest 4 juveniles after McDonald’s riot
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio (WJW) – Four juveniles were arrested and, along with many others, could face charges for their involvement in what police described as a riot at the South Euclid McDonald's on Mayfield Road.
FOX 8 obtained body camera footage of the incident and the case report regarding the incident after learning the McDonald's intends to close its dining room daily from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
On October 22 at 5:40 p.m., officers were called to the McDonald's and found roughly 40 juveniles either in the restaurant or running from the scene.

Two girls with minor injuries were located and identified as victims. Ultimately, police arrested four others.
But after swift work scouring through footage and getting help from the community, each and every other person who police believe played a role were included in the case report that will be submitted to the juvenile prosecutor's office.
Once reviewed, formal charges could be filed.
"That's where there has to be accountability," officer Jason Di Lillo told FOX 8. "There's accountability in our community. There's accountability in our schools. If you choose to participate in that type of activity, chances are you're going to be included in the police report and charges will be filed."
Di Lillo said that he's never seen anything like this incident in his 18 years as a police officer or prior when he attended the local schools.
"This is not commonplace at a business in South Euclid," he said.

He hopes their quick work of identifying everyone involved means there won't be any similar incidents moving forward. He said the other hope is that the South Euclid McDonald's can reopen its dining room soon.
"We want kids, adults, members of our community to frequent our many wonderful businesses and fast food establishments. We just want them to do so in a safe manner," Di Lillo said. "So, ultimately the goal and the hope would be the business can open its doors and the dining room can be open between 2:30 and 5:30 moving forward. We would certainly hope that would happen."
FOX 8 reached out to McDonald's corporate for a statement but did not hear back by the time of this report.
