St. Ignatius vs. Hoban football: Knights dominate Wildcats, 45-14

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Archbishop Hoban defeated St. Ignatius, 45-14, on Friday night at Dowed Field in Akron.

Hoban, the No. 3 team in this week's cleveland.com Top 25, improves to 4-1. St. Ignatius, ranked 23rd, is 1-4.

Hoban's Brayton Feister rushed for 160 yards on 16 carries and scored on runs of 53, 11 and 8 yards. Elbert Hill IV rushed for 80-yard touchdown in the first quarter and caught a screen and went 75-yards for a touchdown in the third.

Quarterback Ethan Roksandich scored on a 1-yard keeper.

Hoban led 28-7 at the half. St. Ignatius's Owen Colwell scored on a 1-yard run in the first quarter.

The Wildcats' Grant Washington scored on 48-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to cut the lead to 28-14.

Hoban will host Mt. Vernon (Ill.) on Sept. 27. St. Ignatius will host Toledo Central Catholic at George Finnie Stadium in Berea.
