4-star SG Davis Fogle commits to Gonzaga

Davis Fogle , a four-star shooting guard in the 2025 class, has committed to and head coach Mark Few , he told On3.

The 6-foot-5 rising senior out of AZ Compass Prep ultimately chose the Zags over offers from Creighton and Kansas, but also received offers from Nebraska, LSU, Indiana, Cincinnati, St. John's, Texas Tech, and others.

Fogle, a native of Anacortes, Washington, is the No. 43 overall recruit in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings . He's also the No. 12 shooting guard prospect. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Fogle talks Gonzaga

In a previous interview with On3, Davis Fogle talked the Zags.

"They're an in-state school. And they're just really, really consistent. They've gotten to the NCAA Tournament every year and, I think, they've been to like nine straight Sweet Sixteens. Their player development is top-notch and that is really sticking out about them. They've come to see me at home like three times. They've come to see my workout at my high school twice. I mean, we have definitely grown a strong relationship. They like my scoring and my offensive skill set. They think I can fit in really well with their play style."

Scouting Report

"Davis Fogle has a projectable frame with good length and sneaky athleticism. He is fluid. The interesting piece to Fogle's game is the scoring. Listed around 6-6, the wing is able to play within three dribbles and get to spots on the mid range going left or right. He will need to continue getting stronger. And with that will need to continue working on his balance points. His shooting from deep, especially off movement, can be streaky because of his balance. Fogle has a solid wing handle within 2-3 dribbles and he can get his team into sets in the open floor. Would like to see him add some more creative handle in the half court, add some self-creation to the mix. His athleticism and frame make things interesting as he continues to add weight. There are flashes of a scorer on there, this flashes need to be sharpened to become more consistent." – On3's Jamie Shaw
