State Museum of Pennsylvania calls for art and craft submissions
Harrisburg, Pa. — The State Museum of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Heritage Foundation are asking Pennsylvanian artists and craftspeople to apply for the Art of the State 2025 exhibition. The prestigious juried exhibition is in its 58th year of presenting creative pieces made by Pennsylvanians.
Pennsylvania residents who are of age 18 and older may submit their work in any of these categories: painting, work on paper, sculpture, craft, and photography/digital media.
Entries to Art of the State 2025 must be submitted online. The application deadline is Friday, Jan. 17 at 11:59 p.m.
The exhibition will be open from June 8 through Sept. 14, concluding with Harrisburg's Gallery Walk.
Cash prizes will be given to the top ranking artists. A first-place award of $500, second-place award of $300, and a third-place award of $200 will be selected in each of the five categories. The Art Docents' Choice Award of $300 will also be presented.
Art of the State is presented by The State Museum of Pennsylvania in partnership with the Pennsylvania Heritage Foundation.
