State Street burned couches, just like the old days
Kentucky Basketball is back. The Wildcats declared that to the college basketball world with a statement comeback win over Duke in the Champions Classic in Atlanta. Back in Lexington, the Big Blue Nation's younger generation proved it is back, too.
KSR's legal team requires that I tell you that KSR does not condone the following behavior, but we must note that State Street was on fire after the game, just like the old days. Arson is never the answer, but, you know, State Street is going to State Street for the Wildcats sometimes.
The couch-burning tradition returned on a school night to celebrate Kentucky snapping its losing streak against Duke and in the Champions Classic with the first signature win under Mark Pope. The celebration was quickly shut down because, again, you shouldn't burn things, but not before a smoke signal was sent from State Street to welcome Pope.
Seriously, don't burn things. That being said, we're back.
