Storm Reports: Severe weather causes delays to Kansas HS football
WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Strong storms are rolling through parts of Kansas on Friday night, causing delays at many Kansas high school football games.

Hesston's game was suspended in the first quarter because of this storm.

64 MPH Wind gusts – 1 WSW Pretty Prairie – Reno County
Semi blown over on I-70 near mile marker – 2 SSE Glendale – Saline County
Estimated 60 MPH wind gust – Marion – Marion County
Marion County – Winds strong enough to move a large metal dumpster into the road in Marion City limits.
Football games were canceled at Centre/Lincolnville schools, according to Marion County Emergency Management.

Former NWS employee reports 65 mph winds on the north side of Kingman – Kingman County
2 W Lyons – Rice County – A U-Haul trailer was reported to have blown over on the west side of Lyons.
62 MPH Gusts – Great Bend Airport – Barton County
59 MPH Winds gusts – 2 SW Belpre – Edwards County
