Suspect Threatens Employee With Knife + Gas, Side Mirror Stolen From Cars: Police

The police department noted that these were not the only crimes reported during that timeframe, but are the ones the department shared information about.

An employee at Ollie's Bargain Outlet reported confronting a woman suspected of stealing merchandise Oct. 12 around 7:54 p.m. But the suspect pulled out a knife and threatened the employee, then took off with the goods. The store is located in the 7300 block of Assateague Drive in Jessup.

Discount Brakes and Mufflers in the 10000 block of Washington Blvd. reported a suspect(s) had stolen various items from the property but no one broke into the business. The incident happened Oct. 13 around 10:50 p.m.

On Oct. 12 between 8 and 10:30 p.m., a suspect(s) entered an open garage and stole a 2021 green Kawasaki dirt bike.

Between Oct. 6-11, a vehicle was broken into and cash and tools were stolen. It was parked in the 2800 block of Leaf Shade Drive. On Oct. 12 around 12:30 a.m., another vehicle parked in the 9500 block of Old Frederick Road was broken into but nothing was stolen. Credit cards were stolen out of a vehicle that was broken into Oct. 12 around 11 a.m. It was parked in the 10000 block of Clarksville Pike.

A side view mirror was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 8500 block of Corridor Road in Savage between Oct. 10-12. Various items were stolen from a vehicle parked near South Eternal Rings Road ahd Ironleaf Trail in Laurel between Oct. 11-13. Gas was stolen out of a vehicle parked in the 9000 block of Maier Road on Oct. 14 shortly before 2 a.m. and from another vehicle Oct. 13 that was in the 7200 block of Montgomery Road in Elkridge. A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 8200 block of Patuxent Range Road Oct. 14-15.
