Syracuse University Chancellor Kent Syverud on Wednesday denounced a revolting video of an alleged hazing incident at a campus fraternity.

The video, apparently captured via Snapchat, shows two individuals forcibly vomiting on two other individuals laying on the ground. The camera then pans to show another individual duct-taped to a cross with their mouth taped shut while rock music plays in the background.

"Go crazy," a caption over the video reads.

Syverud the vile clip in an email to students.

"The University was recently made aware of videos showing repugnant conduct that put the well-being of some of our students in jeopardy," the chancellor . "I am disgusted by the actions that appear in these videos and condemn this conduct."

He added the university has suspended all activities of its Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. That frat had previously been placed on probation until May of this year over violations of the student code of conduct.

The university's Department of Public Safety is also investigating the circumstances surrounding the video and will be conducting interviews with students, the chancellor wrote.

"Any individuals determined to be involved will face the appropriate disciplinary action," he added.

The Phi Kappa Psi national office did not respond to a request for comment from The National News Desk Wednesday.
