Taylor Swift says 'The Eras Tour Concert Film' will be available to rent on her birthday

Pop superstar announced an extended version of "The Eras Tour Concert Film" will be available to rent starting on her birthday, which is Dec. 13.

Swift shared the news on social media on Monday.

Hi! Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home!" she wrote on X, which is the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

She added that she is "very happy" to be able to say the film will include her hits “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer” and “Long Live."

Swift said the film will be on demand for fans across the U.S. and Canada, with "additional countries to be announced soon."

The news comes after the success of Swift's "Eras" Tour, as well as the follow-up film.

It also follows grim news that one of her fans fell ill during her first show in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on November 17 and later .

The fan was identified as 23-year-old Ana Clara Benevides Machado.

Fans also reported fainting from extreme heat, being mugged or getting caught up in a police raid.

Rio’s Municipal Health Department said Benevides experienced cardiorespiratory arrest, but the exact cause of her death is not yet known.

In a statement posted on social media, Swift said Benevides' death left her with a “shattered heart.” She also said she felt "overwhelmed by grief."

"I feel this loss deeply and my broken heart goes out to her family and friends," Swift wrote.

According to a source "close to the singer" said Swift invited Benevides' family to her final performance in Brazil on Sunday. The media outlet also reported the source verified the authenticity of a photo circulating online that shows the family posing with Swift backstage.

Meanwhile, in between shows, , who is a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. He's supporting her career, as he attended one of her concerts as part of her South American leg of the tour.

According to a Bloomberg analysis, Swift has a total net worth of $1.1 billion.

"She’s one of the few entertainers to reach that status based on music and performing alone, the result of work and talent, but also canny marketing and timing," Bloomberg said.
