Taylor Swift's ex Matty Healy enjoys a romantic stroll in Sydney with his US star fiancée Gabbriette Bechtel during surprise trip to Australia

Taylor Swift 's ex-boyfriend Matt Healy was spotted in Sydney on Saturday enjoying a romantic stroll with his US pop star fiancée Gabbriette Bechtel.

The 1975 singer, 35, rocked a laidback look in a plain navy jumper paired with black pants and matching dress shoes for the outing.

He wore his short brunette hair in a stylishly unkempt manner and held a cup of coffee in his hand.

The English singer looked smitten with his beautiful partner, 26, as he held her hand and stayed by her side while they enjoyed a sunny stroll down the scenic street.

Meanwhile, Gabbriette rocked a stylish all-black look in a designer blouse paired with a matching skirt.

The US influencer showed that she was adopting the Aussie way of life by wearing sandals on her feet.

She allowed her freshly permed brunette hair to hang freely around her shoulders and highlighted her natural beauty with a light layer of nude makeup.

Gabby accessorised with a black designer handbag and looked engrossed in conversation with her famous boyfriend as they enjoyed their fun day out.

The pair have been linked since September 2023, following Healy's split from Swift in June that year, when they were spotted enjoying steamy PDA in New York City .

Now an official couple, they have since made several public appearances together, including during Fashion Week and at his music concerts.

Often known simply as Gabbriette, she was born in Orange County, California , in 1997 - making her eight years Matty's junior.

Though she moved to Los Angeles with dreams of being a ballet dancer, Gabbriette fell into a modelling career after being cast in a Blood Orange music video.

However, this was not plain sailing as she told Vogue in May 2023 that she spent large amounts of time as 'an unpaid, hard-working model'.

She has since worked with brands like Diesel, Bottega Veneta and Marc Jacobs .

Aside from her modelling pursuits, Gabbriette shares a taste for the stage with Matty having been the lead vocalist for punk rock band Nasty Cherry - a group hand-picked by British pop singer Charli XCX in 2018.

In a recent interview with British Vogue, Gabriette opened up about her relationship with Matty and even hinted and wanting children in the future.

Speaking to the publication, she gushed: 'I love being in love,' after hanging up the phone to her fiancé.

She added: 'When I thought that I was in love before it was just me being a person of service to somebody else.'

Vogue reported that the couple are preparing to move into their new Hollywood Hills home, where Gabbriette one day hopes to have a family.

She said: 'When I have kids, it's going to be: dinner every night – no phones – to celebrate the smaller things and recognise people's happiness.'

Hinting at how her and Matty first connected, when answering what her advice to anyone still looking for love is, she replied: 'Answer all your DMs and listen to your closest friends.'

'When they like somebody, you should listen to them.'
