Teacher's shocking crime spree: Three arrests in one week reveal troubling behavior

A man who was arrested three times in a week was revealed to be a teacher, according to arrest records.

The first time 43-year-old Hawazin Gridley Wright was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on November 19, he was charged with unlawful carry of a concealed weapon and resisting arrest without violence with a citation for obstructing traffic by a pedestrian. According to the arrest report, Wright caused a scene as he ran from West Palm Beach Police officers during hidden under his shirt.

The second time, on November 24, he was charged with possession of ecstasy or MDMA and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. According to the arrest report, Wright pulled a 12-inch retractable baton from his pocket and, "whips it open, extending it in a threatening manner" while he was at a bar on Clematis Street. When WPBPD officers apprehended Wright, they also found a small clear baggie containing a white crystalized substance inside his jacket pocket.

The happened Sunday evening. Wright was charged with harassment and sending written threats to kill or do harm.

In the arrest reports, Wright's occupation was listed as a teacher. There are no confirmed details as to where Wright teaches.

CBS12 News has reached out to the Palm Beach County School District (PBCSD) for confirmation of his employment, but we are still waiting for a response at this time.
