HOUSTON (Gray News) – Ted Cruz's 16-year-old daughter Caroline is going viral on TikTok for her expressions during her father's victory speech Tuesday night.

Cruz, 53, secured a third term in the Senate, defeating Democratic U.S. Rep. Colin Allred.

While addressing his supporters in his victory speech, Cruz said, "I hope and pray that Donald Trump will be re-elected as President of the United States."

While the crowd cheered, his daughter Caroline didn't. The teenager is visibly seen grimacing, as well as appearing to tell her mom, "Don't clap for that."

Caroline's reaction is going viral in a TikTok video that is captioned, "Ted Cruz's kid's face says it all."

The video has nearly 4 million views as of Thursday.

"She didn't even try to hide it," one commenter wrote.

"The 'don't clap for that' is so valid," another said.

The teenager did, however, clap throughout her father's speech for other statements he made.

In 2022, Caroline posted a now-deleted TikTok video saying she "really disagrees with most of his views" when speaking about her relationship with her dad.
