Teen seriously injured after being hit by car in Tempe

TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — A 14-year-old boy is seriously injured after he was hit by a vehicle in Tempe on Tuesday morning. Tempe Police responded to the crash around 8 a.m. near Kyrene and Baseline roads . The teenager was found with serious injuries and was taken to the hospital, police said. Tempe PD said the driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Traffic will be restricted for an extended time due to road closures with no estimated time of reopening.
