10th annual Island Hopper Songwriter Festival is set to begin

Captiva Island is set to kick off its 10th-annual Island Hopper Songwriter Festival, celebrating music throughout Southwest Florida.

The ten-day-long festival will showcase Southwest Florida talent as the local tradition continues to thrive despite major events like Hurricane Ian in 2022.

Singers and songwriters from across the country are expected to turn out, performing at some local favorite locations, including the Key Lime Bistro, The Green Flash, and more.

The schedule for the festival will begin in Captiva, then Cape Coral, Downtown Fort Myers, before the grand finale in Fort Myers Beach.

The festival is set to begin at 7 p.m. on Friday.
