TeamFootWorks has announced the highly anticipated return of the Lexus Corporate Run series for its milestone 40th anniversary, with First Horizon Bank joining as the new presenting sponsor. This iconic 5K series, which continues to support community health and workplace wellness, will span three South Florida cities, beginning in Fort Lauderdale on April 2, moving to West Palm Beach on April 16, and culminating in Miami on April 24.

With more than 35,000 participants anticipated, the Lexus Corporate Run Series is once again poised to create memorable moments and foster camaraderie among co-workers, civic leaders, and fitness enthusiasts.

Since its inception in 1985, the Lexus Corporate Run Series has promoted a culture of fitness and workplace wellness across South Florida. Known as "Florida's Largest Office Party," the event attracts participants from over 1,200 companies spanning various industries, encouraging employees to bond, improve their health, and embrace team spirit.

Laurie Huseby, race director of the Lexus Corporate Run, expressed excitement over the milestone anniversary, emphasizing the event's goal of uniting coworkers while promoting physical activity. The 5K series, according to Huseby, allows beginners to get a taste of a healthy lifestyle, while seasoned runners can compete for team recognition in categories like top male, female, CEO, and co-ed teams.

Each year, the Lexus Corporate Run Series fosters excitement through its team-oriented activities, such as the T-Shirt Contest, which celebrates the creativity of team designs. Participants can showcase their company pride in categories like "creative use of the company's logo," "most colorful," and "creative use of city landmarks." A lively social media presence surrounding these contests enhances the sense of team spirit, further reinforcing the event's theme of unity and pride.

First Horizon Bank's partnership adds a meaningful dimension to this anniversary celebration. Orlando Roche, Miami-Dade market president at First Horizon Bank, highlighted the bank's commitment to community health and unity, expressing the importance of participating in an event that emphasizes both physical and communal wellbeing.

Roche remarked on the value of celebrating participants' achievements on the race course, as many fulfill personal fitness milestones through the 5K. Additionally, he noted First Horizon Bank's desire to support participants beyond the finish line, offering guidance for their financial health as well.

The 2025 Lexus Corporate Run series will once again donate $1 from each participant's registration to the United Way chapters of Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties, contributing to essential community services. Huseby noted the series' impact, sharing that participants from every sector across South Florida have supported United Way's vital work in education, financial stability, and health for 40 years. This initiative highlights the Corporate Run's role as a community event that reaches beyond fitness.

The series has also garnered support from an impressive lineup of sponsors, including Miami Regional University, Ascendo Resources, Delta Air Lines, Cleveland Clinic, and Miami-Dade County. Media partners like iHeart Radio, The Miami Herald, CBS 4, and Outfront Media will further amplify the event's impact, highlighting the positive influence of corporate involvement in South Florida.

Registration is now open at $55 per team member, with a minimum requirement of four full-time employees per team. Those interested in participating or seeking additional details can contact TeamFootWorks at (305) 666-RACE (7223) or visit their website .
