6th Annual 'Step It Up for Clearbrook' 5K Returns To Arlington Heights

The event is appropriate for all ages and abilities and begins with a Kids Dash for children 8 and under, followed by the 5K run and 1-mile walk/roll. The schedule begins at 8 a.m. Officials said more than 700 runners are registered and over 100 Clearbrook individuals and staffers will also participate.

According to its website , Clearbrook empowers adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities "to live their fullest lives possible." With a staff of more than 900 employees and 80 locations across Chicagoland, Clearbrook reports that 90 percent of every dollar raised goes directly into its programs and services.
