The World's Largest Pancake Festival Is Held In Texas

Who all is ready for a big community event with lots of flipping pancakes?

When it comes to festivals, we sure know how to make them big in Texas. And that's why it should surprise no one to learn that the largest pancake festival in the world is held in Texas.

In fact, it's held in Lubbock, Texas.

The Lubbock Lions Club announced this week that the 73rd Annual Pancake Festival will be happening on Saturday, February 15 2025 from 7am to 7pm. The event will again be at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. So once again, soon it will be time to get ready for pancakes, sausage, bacon with plenty of syrup to go around.

The Lubbock Lions Club Pancake Festival is "all you can eat" for pancakes and sausage while bacon does cost an additional amount. The Lubbock Lions Club claims that their pancake festival is largest in the world after setting a world record for most pancakes served. And of course this is a fundraiser with the Lions Club raising money for other organizations in Lubbock and you will even see local celebrity pancake flippers during the day.

So how much food goes into creating the pancake festival? According to the Lubbock Lions Club, they bring in at least 6,000 pounds of pancake mix alone.

Milk/Orange Juice – 46,500 Servings

Cotton Candy – 2,000+ Bags

Coffee – 240 Gallons

Sausage Links – 72,000 Links

Plates – 36,750

Margarine – 17,280 Ounces

Bubble Gum – 3,850 Pieces

Face Tattoos – 2,000+

BACON!!! OVER 23,000 SLICES
