For some students, high school graduation means going to college.

For other students it could be the military.

But for some students, high graduation could mean entering the workplace.

More than a dozen different companies and organizations are taking over the library on Friday from 11:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for the school's annual trade fair that allows students to hear more job opportunities and careers.

"This event was created for students who plan to start a vocational school to enter a certificate program or perhaps join the military or enter directly into the workforce," A-E counselor Kelli Chandler said. "This is an opportunity for them to speak to professionals that can guide them in their next steps "

Frisco ISD students have the opportunity through certain CTE Center classes to get a head start on their career with certificates and licenses.

Sophomore Braxton Rodgers is planning on attending to find out more about the welding world.

"Our group is currently working on a trailer and we are going to go to get some inspiration and help from people who know what they're doing," sophomore Braxton Rodgers said.
