The Sweet and Salty Trail is a free mobile passport that includes over 30 Lancaster County businesses that serve and sell sweet and/or salty snacks. Participating businesses include Achenbach's Pastry, Vintage Candy Shop, Hammond Pretzel Bakery, Stoltzfus Meats, and so many more!

Some of the businesses on the Trail are offering discounts so users can save when they visit the business.

For even more incentive to join the Trail, you can check-in at participating businesses using your phone's GPS to earn points toward exclusive prizes that are available for pickup at the Discover Lancaster Visitor Center. Prizes include key chains, water bottles, canvas tote bags, and stickers.

The Sweet and Salty Trail is active from September 1st this year to September 1st 2025. Prizes must be picked up in person by October 1st, 2025 during the hours of 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Saturday.

The Sweet and Salty Trail has something for people of all ages, from toddlers to high school students to retirees. The Trail is especially great for Lancaster County residents. It draws you out of your neighborhood bubble and gets you into areas of Lancaster County that you have yet to discover.

It's also great for people who have recently moved here, to introduce you to the amazing foodie scene in Lancaster.

Fall is the perfect time for the Sweet and Salty Trail. As kids get back into the swing of school, a sweet treat at the end of the day can make that transition just a little bit easier.

And, football season is back, so this is the perfect opportunity to switch up your typical tailgate food with something locally made and delicious.
