Pillow Fight: On Saturday, April 2, indulge your inner child by going to the 2016 Philly Pillow Phight in Washington Square Park. Starting at 3 p.m., face off against your fellow Philadelphians with soft pillows. The event is free and open to the public of all ages. This event happens on the same day all around the world. Tea Lessons: The Japanese tea ceremony is a true work of art and what better place to study it than in Philly’s own Shofuso Japanese House and Garden. The Spring Semester begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 2. Classes are $100 per month, with a one time $65 materials fee. Students can renew monthly. Macy’s Flower Show: The annual Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Flower Show may be over for the year, but the Macy’s Flower show is going strong through Sunday, April 3 in Center City. See the Grand Court transformed into a secret garden. Take a guided tour with flower show guides, which includes a behind the scenes tour of the Wanamaker Organ. The theme is America the Beautiful and will showcase our country’s beautiful native plants. Beautiful: The Carole King Musical: Running through Sunday, April 3, this Tony Award winning Broadway musical tells the story of Carole King’s rise to musical stardom. David Cross: Actor David Cross is probably best known for his role as Tobias in “Arrested Development,” but the hilarious performer has quite the filmography to his name.
