Three-car crash leaves one dead, one seriously injured in Clay County
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person is dead and another is seriously injured after a three-car crash in Clay County Friday evening.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), just after 5 p.m., a Chevrolet Silverado driving eastbound on MO-210 hit the rear of a Ford Fusion.
The impact caused the Fusion to drive into the opposite lanes of traffic where it was hit by a Ford Bronco.
Two pedestrians hit in overnight crash in Kansas City
MSHP said all three drivers were taken to Liberty Hospital, however, the 27-year-old driver of the Fusion died at the hospital just before 6 p.m.
The crash report also said that the driver of the Bronco, a 76-year-old woman, was seriously injured, and the driver of the Silverado, a 23-year-old man, faced minor injuries.
