Thunderbirds fall 4-1 to Islanders, eye comeback Saturday night
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Springfield Thunderbirds faced off against the Bridgeport Islanders on Friday night at the MassMutual Center.
The Islanders got on the board first with an early goal in the 1st period and the Thunderbirds rallied back with a goal from Dalibor Dvorsky.
Springfield struggled to get much going after that, as the Islanders put up an additional 3 goals. The Thunderbirds went on to lose this one with a final score of 4 to 1.
Springfield will look to get back on track Saturday night against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The puck drop is set for 7:05 PM.
