Prime Video's "Thursday Night Football" crew had an awkward encounter with comedian Nikki Glaser after the Week 3 matchup between the New England Patriots and the New York Jets.

It was all Jets in this game as they won 24-3, thanks to quarterback Aaron Rodgers' 281 passing yards and two passing touchdowns. Running back Breece Hall and wide receivers Garrett Wilson and Allen Lazard also found the endzone.

Following the game, the "Thursday Night Football" crew, consisting of Charissa Thompson, Andrew Whitworth, Tony Gonzalez, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Richard Sherman, hosted Glaser as a special guest on their postgame show.

Glaser is a well-known comedian who stole the show at Netflix's infamous "The Roast of Tom Brady."

The broadcast segment was called "Late Hits with Nikki Glaser." Glaser immediately came out firing, roasting each crew member in order. Her first victim was Thompson:

"I just have to say it's so nice to finally meet the photo I show my plastic surgeon," Glaser said. "But seriously, you are pretty intimidating. You look like the final boss at a country club."

Next up was Sherman:

"I'm definitely not going to say that Richard Sherman looks like Busta Rhymes on Ozempic," she added. "I'm not gonna do that."

And then Whitworth:

"I'm not gonna say that Andrew Whitworth looks like Men's Warehouse Shrek," Glaser stated.

Gonzalez:

"Tony Gonzalez looks like who my mom thinks about during one of her long baths," she said. "Tony, I do like your vibe, though. You look like a genie you can only summon by rubbing the crotch of a sensible Talbot's pantsuit."

Lastly, Fitzpatrick:

"I am so honored to be here tonight with all of these NFL legends and Ryan Fitzpatrick," Glaser added. "Or, as your teammates called you, Sacked Galifianakis."

After Thompson's roast, her expression said it all. She appeared completely shocked, much like viewers at home. The segment would be instantly shared on social media and become viral for its awkwardness.

Glaser then went into her own analysis of the game, cracking jokes and roasting the teams and players over the next few minutes. At the end of the segment, she revealed that fans would see more of her in the future, perhaps four more times.

"Thursday Night Football" will be in New York again in Week 4. The Dallas Cowboys are scheduled to face their NFC East division rival, the New York Giants.
