BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The LSU Tigers came into Saturdays game against the Alabama Crimson Tide fresh off of a bye week and still stinging from a loss the week before to Texas A&M, their first loss since their season opener.

Unfortunately for LSU, the Crimson Tide was unfazed by the Tiger's high hopes coming into this game and the presence of a live tiger, handing LSU their third loss of season.

The Tide would rise first, scoring their first touchdown early on in the first quarter. They would then continue to outscore the Tigers in the first half, heading into halftime with a 21-6 lead, holding LSU to only two field goals.

The Tiger's saw little difference in the second half, unable to stop the Tide's offense as they racked up touchdowns with LSU's offense unable to do the same.

Even with a last-minute LSU touchdown, Alabama would walk away with the 42-13 Saturday night victory in Death Valley.

LSU's next game will be an away game against the Florida Gators on Saturday, November 16.

Kick off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
