Mr. and Mrs. Frank Catina, Forty Fort, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were united in marriage Aug. 1, 1964, in the former Holy Rosary Church, Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, by the Rev. John Cordero. The attendants were Susan Stepanski Murphy, Bear Creek, sister of the bride, and the late Joseph Kologe.

Mrs. Catina is the former Regina (Jean) Stepanski, daughter of the late John and Susan Petrin Stepanski. Mr. Catina is the son of the late Rocco and Anita Cella Catina, all formerly of Wilkes-Barre.

Frank retired from the Electrolux Corporation after 38 years as a salesman. Jean is a homemaker and actively involved with Hugs in Action Quilters, Fellowship Church, Dallas.

They are the parents of three beautiful daughters, Susan, wife of Dr. John Prater, Dallas; Sandra, wife of John Panzitta, West Pittston; and Tracey, wife of Brent Hughes, Quakertown.

They have been blessed with six wonderful grandchildren, Brittany, John and Emily Prater and Ky, Caleb and Aaron Hughes.

A surprise celebration was held at the “Gram Panski” family reunion at the home of Michael and Susan Murphy, Bear Creek. A family dinner will also be held to honor the occasion.
