TUNKHANNOCK: The Community Foundation of Susquehanna and Wyoming counties is offering financial assistance for children in the Tunkhannock area to attend the Camp Invention® program this summer. The program will be hosted by Tunkhannock Area School District June 20-24.
Camp Invention® is a science and creativity enrichment program of the nonprofit Invent Now, Inc. in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for children entering grades 1-6. Children will learn physics, engineering and creative problem-solving in fun and creative ways.

WILKES-BARRE: The Osterhout Free Library is offering free basic computer classes for English language learners. The classes are open to people who are learning English or who want to practice English. The classes will be taught in English, with support for new English speakers, and the instructor will provide help in Spanish, as needed. The classes are limited to 10 students and will be held from 10:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. on March 5, 12, 19, 26 and April 2, 9, 16 and 30. Call 570-821-1959 to register.
