WCIA's partners with the Ford County Chronicle reported that Judge Matt Fitton found that State's Attorney Andrew Killian met the burden of probable cause following a sworn testimony of Gibson City police officer Jacob Horsch, arguments from Killian and Bloomington attorney Stephanie Wong, Brown's representative.

Brown was charged on Oct. 10, and the ruling came on Oct. 21 during a preliminary hearing. A pretrial hearing has been set for Dec. 16 at 9 a.m.

Brown is being held at the Ford County Jail. He could face penalties ranging from probation to up to seven years behind bars per each of the two most serious charges if he is convicted.
