Two boys shot at Alexandria intersection, one critically injured

Two boys were shot at the intersection of Wythe Street and Fayette Street, according to officers from the Alexandria Police Department (APD).
At around 2 a.m. on Saturday, officers say that they arrived at the 1100 block of Wythe Street to investigate reports of gunshots.
Inside a car there, they found two juvenile boys suffering from gunshot wounds, according to APD officials They were both taken to the hospital.

One of the boys is in stable condition, while the other's injuries are considered critical.
