Two people injured in NW Rochester crash

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) –Multiple fire trucks and an ambulance responded to a morning crash involving a commercial box truck and a car Friday. Two people were hurt. Rochester Police say the accident happened around 8 a.m. First responders were called to 37th Street NW near the Highway 52 N on-ramp. A Bob the Bug Man truck was one of the vehicles involved. The other was a sedan. Rochester Police say the driver of the sedan and a passenger in car were transported by Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service with non-life-threatening injuries. Rochester Police say the driver of the truck was not hurt. The truck driver was cited for failure to obey a traffic signal and speed greater than reasonable or due care. The area was partially blocked off during the morning commute.
