Two-car collision sent two people to the hospital

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — There was a two-car collision that sent two people to the hospital in an ambulance on Nov. 13. According to the San Angelo Police Officer at the scene, the collision occurred on West 23rd and Bryant around midday. The collision involved a Nissan Sentra and a Dodge Ram. While the Sentra was traveling west on West 23rd, the Ram was traveling north on North Bryant and disregarded its red light causing the collision. Only occupants in the vehicles were the drivers. Both drivers were transported to the hospital for basic pre-cautionary care. The officer said there were no life-threatening injuries to the drivers involved. The Ram took out a traffic light at the intersection due to the car collision. The city is currently working on fixing the traffic light but might take a few hours according to the SAPD Officer.
