81 crash involving 2 tractor

A stretch on Interstate 81 north is shut down in Dauphin County due to a fatal multi-vehicle crash.

All northbound lanes are currently closed between Exit 80: PA 743 - Grantville/Hershey and Exit 85B: Fort Indiantown Gap, near the border of Dauphin and Lebanon counties. PennDOT reports the road closure began around 2:40 a.m.

PennDOT confirmed that one person is confirmed to have died. The wreck involved two passenger cars and two tractor-trailers, one carrying beer and one carrying fertilizer.

Dispatch confirmed the crash did result in fire.
