The Cavs (12-0) continue to find ways to keep their perfect start alive. The latest feat was another gritty come-from-behind 119-113 win against the Chicago Bulls.

Cleveland is off to the best start in the NBA since the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors, which began their campaign 24-0 , ultimately finishing with the best record in NBA history at 73-9.

That same team lost to the Cavs in a historic NBA Finals after leading the series 3-1.

A 13th straight win would also give Cleveland the franchises longest win streak.

The Cavs' offense remains the gold standard in the association. They lead the league in points per game (122.4), offensive rating, field goal percentage (52%) and 3-point percentage. They also dish out 28.5 assists per game, which ranks sixth in the league.

The Cavs turn the ball over 12.2 times per game, which is sixth in the league.

Their defense still remains stout, allowing just 110.4 points per game (10th in the NBA) while holding opponents to 46.1% from the field (12th). They are tallying 9.8 steals per game, which is fifth in the league.

Cleveland hauls in 41.5 rebounds per game (23rd), which has been one of few weaknesses on the team.

Franchise centerpiece Donovan Mitchell has been on cruise control for much of the hot start , but delivered a vintage performance against the Bulls with 36 points, eight rebounds and four steals.

Point guard Darius Garland continued his consistency, tallying 17 points, five assists, four steals and two rebounds. Power forward Evan Mobley chipped in 15 points, 11 rebounds and two assists.

Cleveland forced 21 turnovers in the win.

The Cavs bench, which has been one of their strongest weapons this season , erupted again as Caris LeVert, Ty Jerome and Georges Niang each scored a dozen.

The well-oiled machine is averaging six players in double figures and eight with at least 6.8 points per game.

The Cavs could be without the services of Jarrett Allen, who is dealing with a lower left leg strain that has hampered him. He only tallied nine points, five rebounds and two assists against the Bulls.

Cleveland remains without Max Strus (ankle).

First-year head coach Kenny Atkinson has moved around the puzzle to perfection thus far . Will the streak continue?

The 76ers (2-8) are coming off an NBA Cup opening loss to the New York Knicks last night. The 111-99 defeat brought the season debut of former MVP Joel Embiid. The superstar center scored 13 points on 2-of-11 shooting with eight free throws in 26 minutes and looked noticeably rusty in his return.

Embiid's recovery play has hinted towards removing back-to-back appearances, which means he will be out for the tilt with Cleveland.

Nine-time All-Star Paul George turned back the clock, delivering a team-high 29 points and 10 rebounds while rookie Jared McCain continued his stellar play with 23 points off the bench. McCain has tallied at least 18 points in his last three games.

Philadelphia will be thin across the board, opening up what could be another massive night for the rookie.

Adding to their laundry list of key injuries and limitations, George (knee injury management) will also miss the matchup along with Tyrese Maxey, who is dealing with a hamstring issue.

With their roster in a constant turnstile, the 76ers continue to scrap for points, failing to score 100 for the third time this season. They rank 29th in points per game and field goal percentage this season.

Philadelphia is the worst rebounding team in the league, hauling in 39.5 boards per game.

Sharpshooters Eric Gordon and Kyle Lowry can exploit Cleveland's 3-point defense, which ranks 25th in the NBA.

The teams split the season series 2-2 in 2023-24
